His English versions of Berlin cabaret songs were recorded by Ute Lemper on her best-selling CD of that name. On film he has worked with Brian, Da Balma, Stephen Daldry, Stephen Herek (in the original "Critters") and Ron Howard. He has two plays produced at regional theaters and is the author of a biography of Tennessee Williams' sister: "Rose Isabel"
